«Dear friends of regional science

I have looked at the presentations at the ERSA meetings in Paris 2007 and Liverpool 2008 and picked out e-mail addresses to some of you to inform you about the following:

1. In December 2008 we put out (free for downloading) an issue of the Journal of Regional Analysis & Policy, volume 38 (2008) Issue 2,
which is a special issue on the knowledge economy. We are interested in hearing your comments on the articles. You will find this issue by using the following link:

2. The Mid-Continent RSA will hold its 40th annual conference together with The Canadian Regional Science Association's 31st annual meeting May 28-30, 2009 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. At this meeting there will be a special session on: The knowledge economy - taking place on May 29.
